ff2 mac and win scrolling issue

Browsers affected: ff2 mac and ff2 win

Condition: if the main browser window is long enough to require scrolling

To create the issue: i launch a modal window, the translucent background effect happens (which is expected), but then when I scroll further down the main browser window, the translucency of the background scrolls up and away, and the background of the main browser window starts showing through.

In ie7/ie6/safari, the translucent background stays covering the entire contents of the browser window, no matter if I scroll or not.

Questions:

1. Does this happen to anyone else?
2. Is there a way to correct this, or is this considered an acceptable drawback of ff2?

I've just added a patch to fix this in the upcoming 2.0 release.

This is what I used. Anyone got some suggestions that are less hackish? (it does work though)

Any idea when 2.0 will release Ryan? I'm experiencing the same thing as tonywhite and would love to see this fixed ? Any suggestions for a work-around in the mean-time?

2.0 is out now, just haven't updated the documentation yet.
